Fireside Hump-day
This morning the moon was still quite bright, but the wind was down so it gave an opportunity for a morning fire pit. Since we now live in a travel trailer, some of the home comforts we've been missing, we have tried to replace. One of mine was a fireplace, and hubbie assembled a small fire pit on our patio so that we can enjoy a bit of pre-dawn fire on non-windy days. It merely consists of stacked cinder blocks but I love it! The fire is created by small homemade logs made of bound up dried bamboo cut from our back fence line. It's become a happy tradition and has filled some of that need of going zen to a gentle flame and feeling a bit of warmth on an otherwise frosty morning.
