Back! Plus the Tuckie morning truce...

I confess to be obviously remiss in my blogging duties. I plan to make amends right now!

It's been a month and a half.... what's new? Well it's been a time of rediscovery of myself and again the inspired appreciation of simpler aspects of daily life. I think we all have our own interpretations of this mantra. What comes from here forward is just my own experience. I wish any that read this good journey on your own discoveries.

I'd like to start with my latest simple accomplishment. As you know from previous posts we have a two year old German shepherd Irish setter mix named Tucker. Well just this morning I realized what I'm about to share is a new morning routine and all I can do is happily laugh.... what else can one do.

Accomplishment, discovery, these this time, are one of the same. The accomplishment is that I have developed a knack for being able to make the bed with a huge 80 lb Tucker right in the way. He is an immovable force. I adjust the blankets around him and straighten the pillows. Then once the pillows are nicely straightened, Tucker relocates to "fluff and stuff" the pillows and settle himself down once again, completely destroying what I just did, but freeing up the rest of the bed to finish smoothing out the rest of the blankets.

The discovery... as I said... all I can do anymore is laugh... this stuff used to bug me, but I really don't care anymore. He's a dear loving dog and the bed is comfy ... I understand. As a matter of fact this very morning during a massive belly scratch I grabbed his front legs and we danced to All American Rejects on the radio, all the while his huge gaping mouth trying to nibble my hands for breakfast. All good fun!

Such begins the day... have a good one!
