I know we should do this every day, not just on Thanksgiving, my mind is full of things for which I'm grateful. I will try to name them all but knowing me I will forget a couple...
- First and foremost, my goofball family which includes sweet hubbie, our doggie and our kittie. They forever give me smiles.
Good and dear friends, both near and far away.
- The trailer we live in. Yes it's a bit small but a step up from what we were living in before. It's really nice having running water and a toilet that works...really grateful for that! Not to mention the shower!
- Lenient landlords. Times are tough right now and we haven't always been on time with the rent but they thus far are willing to work with us. That's really nice.
- The park we live in itself. The sites in this park are bigger than most, allowing us to plant roses, vegetable gardens, plus have an outdoor living area where we can receive guests.
- Usually fabulous neighbors. Yes there are moments, but isn't it that way with anyone? I'm just happy to be living in an environment where I feel secure and happy.
- Sticks, stones, branches, corn tops and bamboo... I'll go into that later, but trust me... even the simplest of things can be treasures.
I think I could sum this up with I am grateful for the basics in life and am happy we have them. Yes we have dreams we cannot achieve right now, but who knows what the future will bring... it's not written yet. However right now we could be, and have been, in a lot worse place so thank the powers that be for what we have.
